Can you Help?
We are looking for volunteers to help with tasks from bookkeeping and cleaning to washing and wiring,
to get the pub up and running again.
If you’d like to help or can maybe donate materials, do let us know!
Just click on this link to complete the form “Yes I Can Offer Help” and return via email, in person to a committee member, or post.
Thank you!
We are the Lowther Arms Community Project, a small local community group passionate about saving our traditional pub in the heart of our village.
The pub has been here since 1847, perfectly situated on the Solway Coast, with cycling and rambling routes alongside superb panoramic views. It is a pub with potential for locals and visitors alike. Sadly the pub has closed and is for sale, possibly for development, and we only have a few months to raise the money to buy it for our community.
We are very grateful for all donations great and small.
THANK YOU in advance
